Discover the science behind the latest buzz in cleaning

The science behind the technology is pretty simple. There are no nasty chemicals involved, that cause irritations and allergies. Instead, our solution is made up of three natural ingredients; Water, Salt and Vinegar
How Does Buzz Work?

The innovative Buzz Cleaning System combines salt, water, and vinegar with electricity to create a special solution called HOCL - Hypochlorus Acid. This has been used for years for medical grade sterilisation.

Buzz can clean, deodorise and purify a wide range of surfaces. That means, unlike traditional cleaning products, there’s no harmful chemicals or fumes.

Will it cost more money?

No, actually its the opposite, we believe you will save up to 90% of regular household cleaners.

Buzz will replace your window cleaner, toilet cleaners, bathroom cleaners, kitchen cleaners, benchtop cleaners, and so much more!

We did the math's so you don't have to! Based on a pack of 50 Activators, you will have the ability to make 150 weeks worth of cleaner - That's 59 cents a week!

Plus as a bonus, you don't have to run to the store, you make it on demand right at home!

So get rid of the toxic chemicals in your home and be kind to yourself, your family, your pets and your wallet.

What are Buzz’s key active ingredients?

Hypochlorous acid – this key ingredient, more effective than bleach, is the same substance your immune system produces, commonly used in wound, eye and veterinary care products because it's so gentle and effective.

Sodium hydroxide – a detergent & grease-cutter without suds. Buzz contains just 0.0000003% yet cleans as well as major brands that have up to 5%.

Can Buzz be used as a Hand Sanitiser?

Since the Covid pandemic dermatologists have seen an increase of eczema by over 1200% -

Thats due to the increased awareness to sanitise your hands, yet high amounts of alchol and toxins can irritate the skin.

HOCL's antimicrobial superpowers are being harnessed by dermatologists for fighting acne and skin infections. They are also using it to soothe and repair skin damaged by chronic skin conditions like eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis.

So ditch the regular sanitisers and give Buzz a go. Your skin will thank you for it.

What comes in the Buzz Starter Kit?

Each Starter Kit contains:

- 350ml Buzz Bottle

- USB power cord.

- 5 Activators to last up to 15 weeks.

Does Buzz have a Scent?

Buzz has zero added fragrances. It has a light swimming pool scent that’s naturally created when salt, water and vinegar are electrolyzed (trace amounts of chlorine are created during electrolysis). The chlorine ultimately converts to hypochlorous acid, Buzz’s active ingredient.

Does Buzz work on mould?

Yes! Buzz cleans mould and fungus as effectively as bleach and prevents it from returning. Buzz doesn't contain any whiteners (unlike bleach) however, so it won't remove set in staining on porous surfaces like grout.

Does Buzz actually work

Definitely! Buzz is just as effective as conventional cleaners like bleach, Windex on glass, Scrubbing Bubbles on soap scum and Febreze on odours, only with no harmful chemicals. We know it's hard to believe that you can convert household ingredients into such a powerful cleaner, but Buzz technology - called electrolyzed water - has actually existed for years in the industrial space. We've sized down the same technology for your countertop and wallet.

We are so confident that it works that if you're not completely satisfied then return it for a full refund within 30 days.

Can I add my own fragrances or essential oils?

No! That would be a real Buzz kill… You shouldn’t add any oils because it interferes with the chemistry of the product and reduces efficacy.

Why does buzz only last three weeks?

Just like bubbles in a carbonated drink, hypochlorous acid starts to dissipate over time. To ensure Buzz is running at optimal power, you should use it within three weeks. The bottle is 350ml so most families use about a bottle within a two-week period, for all their multi-purpose cleaning and deodorizing needs. (Families who also use it on floors and rugs use even more.) For a pro-tip, any unused product can be buzzed again to add another 3 weeks life to it!

Do our bottles contain BPA or BPS?

No, our bottles do not contain BPA or BPS.

Can I use Buzz to clean my hands ?

If you're on the go and don't have access to soap and water, you can use Buzz to clean and sanitise your hands. What’s more, because it has no skin allergens or irritants, you don't even need to rinse it off.

Is it easy to make?

Yes – it’s super simple to make. Simply fill the Buzz bottle with regular tap water, squeeze in one Activator Capsule and plug it in. In seven minutes, you’ll be ready to clean and deodorize anywhere little hands, noses and paws in your house like to be! (But remember, as with all products, please use as directed.)

What shelf life does the activator have?

The activator capsules have a 4-year shelf life.

What types of surfaces can I use Buzz on?

Buzz can be used virtually anywhere in your house for any job requiring cleaning or deodorizing. Sticky messes, grease and grime in the kitchen. Counters like sealed stone, granite, marble, quartz, wood and laminate. Cutting boards after cutting raw chicken or fish. Glass and appliances (including stainless steel). Even on your baby’s high chair tray.

In the bathroom, it's perfect for cleaning toilets and sinks, plus removing soap scum, and on bathroom surfaces including grout, tile, sealed marble, porcelain, and high touch areas like doorknobs and faucets.

Buzz is also great in the nursery for diaper pails, changing pads, and baby toys. In pet areas, Buzz cleans & deodorizes stains and odours with no harmful residues or fumes. Use on kitty litter, pet toys, bedding, even pet accidents on rugs.

For surfaces where you currently use an abrasive like a scrub brush (for example with soap scum), simply use the same brush when using Buzz. Depending on surface porosity and build up, you may need a mild abrasive like baking soda with your scrub brush the first few times.

Lastly, remember Buzz has no drying accelerants like ammonia or alcohol based cleaners, so on glass and stainless steel, wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel afterwards until the surface is completely dry.

Does it leave behind any film or residue?

Buzz doesn't leave behind the harmful residues that conventional cleaners do. Simply spray the solution on any surface and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel. But be aware, Buzz has no drying accelerants like ammonia or alcohol based cleaners do. So, on glass and stainless steel, wipe with a clean cloth or paper towel until the surface is completely dry.

How is Buzz better than just DIY cleaner with Vinegar?

Cleaning with regular vinegar damages stone surfaces like granite and marble, plus corrodes grout and rubber over time. Buzz overcomes this thanks to the chemistry change that the system creates. That means it can be used on sealed stone.

Why hasn’t this been done before?

Electrolyzed water is a technology that’s been used in the industrial space for decades. However until now, it required huge equipment accessible only to large companies and institutions. Buzz is the first product that allows you to make electrolyzed water at home, right on your countertop.

Does Vinegar kill viruses?

No vinegar doesn’t kill viruses sufficiently to qualify as an EPA registered disinfectant and sanitizer. Once you dilute vinegar as part of a DIY cleaning solution, you’re reducing the virus killing power even further.

Can I make my own activators?

No you shouldn't for safety and efficacy reasons. The chemistry is so sensitive that even being off by a small percentage you could easily make bleach, or a solution that doesn't meet regulatory efficacy standards. These risks are why the EPA requires our Capsules.
